So, will I see the Harmony Korine film this year? Probably - I AM a masochist. Plus, the Q&A with an obviously high Korine (drinking a slurpee, no less) was well worth sitting through the movie.
I continue to be amazed that the festival directors are actually able to write coherent synopses of his films.

I'm guessing the writers of the programme guides have a lot of fun, not just with non-linear films featuring 5 minute scenes of people beating the shit out of a kitchen chair or eating spaghetti in the bathtub.
One of my favourites was the summary of the movie 'Fluffer' about, well, you can guess. Reading the final paragraph, which began, "And just as the fluffer is one who gives love...." provoked a 5 minute laughing/coughing fit.
